Ensemble Phoenix e. V. – the association behind Urania Spiegelpalast Köln
Urania Spiegelpalast Köln is operated by Ensemble Phoenix – Bühnenspielgemeinschaft e. V. The non-profit association provides the organisational and legal framework for artistic work, performances, and the patron community.
Independent art needs a reliable structure
Shows are created on stage. They become possible through contracts, financing, organisation, staff, rehearsal spaces, and people willing to take responsibility. The association links this practical foundation with the house’s charitable purpose.
Purpose and ethos
Ensemble Phoenix supports theatre, music, variety, and cultural projects. Its focus is independent artistic work, social openness, human rights, democracy, and the belief that art creates encounters.
