More than a performance. An entire evening in the Spiegelpalast.
A visit to the Urania Spiegelpalast Köln does not begin with the first note. You arrive, take your seat at the table, order something to eat or drink and leave everyday life outside. Then the lights dim, the stage comes alive and music, circus and story become a shared evening.
The Spiegelpalast is not an anonymous theatre hall. Its circular architecture brings audience and stage close together. You see faces, hear voices up close and experience acrobatics from a proximity that makes every movement tangible.
A completely different world.
Every show at the Urania Spiegelpalast Köln is created in-house. Bettina Montazem directs and shapes the stage world. Lea Johanna Montazem defines the music, dramaturgy, costumes and vocals. Rosa Halina Dahm brings together acting, clowning and the visual identity with which the Urania Spiegelpalast Köln presents itself to the outside world.
Together with international artists, they create shows in which music and acrobatics do not stand side by side. They tell a story together.
An extraordinary house for unforgettable evenings.
Wood, glass, canvas, velvet and mirrors give the palace its unmistakable character. Built to a historic model, it recalls fairgrounds, theatres and the great nights of variety. At the same time, it is air-conditioned, comfortable and designed for a relaxed evening.
Up to 350 guests sit at tables. Two price categories make it transparent at booking which view and which price are available for the chosen date.
Every show has its own flavour
Each show has its own menu. You can choose suitable dishes and drinks directly for the performance and begin your visit even before the first applause.
Whether a small plate, a menu or a drink to toast with: on the respective show page you can immediately see what is offered on your date and how to book it.

Three women. One family. A distinct signature.
Bettina Montazem, Lea Johanna Montazem and Rosa Halina Dahm run the Urania Spiegelpalast Köln together. They are directors, musicians, actors, producers, hosts and entrepreneurs. Above all, they share the conviction that art brings people together and that an evening may offer more than mere entertainment.
Many guests return because they do not just see a show, but are personally welcomed. This closeness is not a concept. It shapes the work of the house.
Culture lives through the people who make it possible
Around 400 supporting members sustain the Urania Spiegelpalast Köln ideologically, socially and financially. They help develop new shows, engage artists, keep music alive and secure cultural spaces in Cologne.
