This is Urania Spiegelpalast Köln.
Urania Spiegelpalast Köln is a family-run Cologne theatre company for self-created music variety shows.

Stories told with music and circus
The artistic work began in spoken theatre with political and social subjects, premières and a clear point of view. With variety came a new language: music can carry emotion, acrobatics can make thought visible, and circus can tell a story without needing to explain it. This threefold approach still shapes Urania Spiegelpalast Köln today.

A love letter to Cologne
Urania Spiegelpalast Köln works independently and with a clear commitment to Cologne. The self-created shows are meant to entertain, move and bring people together – with seriousness, humour and the freedom to allow big feelings.

Personal hospitality
For many guests, Bettina is not only the woman behind direction and production, but also the host of the house. Conversation, recognition and a personal welcome are part of daily life at Urania Spiegelpalast Köln. Over the years, this closeness has created a community that reaches far beyond a single theatre visit.
Urania Spiegelpalast Köln is an independent Cologne theatre and variety project, led by Bettina Montazem, Lea Johanna Montazem and Rosa Halina Dahm. Together they create their own shows with music, acting, dance and international acrobatics.
